Fighting for truly affordable housing at the Bedford Union Armory

I'm proud to stand with union members, housing advocates, colleagues, and neighbors as we fight for truly affordable housing at the Bedford Union Armory. We need to build truly affordable housing on our public land. Affordable housing should not be living in a shelter. Affordable housing should not be traded off to finance a recreation center. Truly affordable housing can and should be union built. And importantly, truly affordable housing should be within reach of our community's residents - no one should be marginalized, displaced, or pushed out. We must pursue true affordable housing and uphold the common-sense values of our community.
