Thank you residents of 185 E. 92nd for standing up for your rights. The tenants pay their rent, so it is the legal obligation of the landlord to provide basic services like gas.
I'm proud to join Assemblyman N Nick Perry, Assemblywoman Diana Richardson, the Crown Heights Tenant Union, and New York Communities for Change in demanding that landlords follow the law and basic human decency in providing tenants a livable home. It's the least the landlords should do.
