Senator Bonacic Attends Police Officers Memorial Remembrance Ceremony in Albany

(Albany, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined with law enforcement officials from throughout New York State at the Police Officers Memorial Remembrance Ceremony, today in Albany. The ceremony is held every year to honor those men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. This year, 26 names were added to the wall, including Sgt. Eric Meier of the Town of Crawford, who lost his life last year. With the addition of these 26 names, there are now 1,413 names on the wall. The memorial recognizes officers from 141 police agencies across the state, and six federal agencies.
