“I want to express my deepest condolences to the family and colleagues of New York State Police trooper Joel Davis, whose life was senselessly cut short after being tragically shot over the weekend while on duty. After Officer Familia's heinous murder, Police Trooper Davis' terrible shooting further reminds us of the risks our law enforcement agents face on daily basis in protecting and serving our neighborhoods. Let's keep Police Trooper Davis' family and fellow colleagues in our thoughts and prayers on this sad day."
