Offering both educational and recreational activities, senior centers serve as pillars of our community. In Brownsville, Wayside OutReah Development senior centers offerings include hot lunch daily, exercise classes, recreation programs, computer training, health and nutrition classes, local trips, benefits assistance, social events, volunteer opportunities and more. That provision of services makes an invaluable contribution to our community. That's why it was my honor to celebrate securing $50,000 in State funding for their work today at the Tilden Houses Senior Center alongside my colleague Assemblywoman Latrice Walker. Thanks to all who were able to join us this afternoon!
