Senator Bonacic Honors Exceptional Senior Citizen at Ceremony in Albany as part of Older Americans Month

(Albany, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to attend the 2017 Older New Yorkers’ Day celebration today in the Hart Lounge in Albany. Vera Green-Dixon of Hamptonburgh was one of the honorees at the event. Mrs. Green-Dixon is the Vice President of the Orange County Senior Council and serves as the Treasurer of the Hamptonburgh Seniors. She is also a Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh and the past president of the Orange County Volunteer Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary. At the event, Senator Bonacic presented Mrs. Green-Dixon with a Senate Proclamation honoring her accomplishments.
