New York benefits from the wealth of talents from communities both near and far. Honored to join in celebrating the Puerto Rican community, Puerto Rican heritage, Nuyoricans, and the diaspora today.

As we celebrate, we must also remember and renew our commitment to helping Puerto Rico rebuild in the face of devastating natural disaster, and in the face of the negligence and maladministration of Trump. Recovery should leave no one behind.
