We must stand in resolute opposition to the Trump administration’s disgraceful decision to target our immigrant communities. We must fight against Trump's divide and conquer strategies. We see the racism, white supremacy, and inhumane mistreatment again and again: withdrawing Temporary Protected Status from thousands of Haitians, denigrating Haiti, El Salvador and Africa, causing this crisis for the Dreamers. Tomorrow, I am introducing legislation for people with TPS that will let them keep their drivers licenses and permit them to remain eligible for Medicaid.

We must do everything we can at the state level to protect our immigrant communities.
