(Albany, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) met with Susan Wiand of Walker Valley as part of the 2018 Senior Day, which is hosted by the New York State Office for the Aging and recognizes exemplary seniors who have made a difference in their communities. Mrs. Wiand is a member of the Historical Society of Shawangunk and Gardiner, Walker Valley Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, the Greater Shawangunk Community Alliance, and the Walker Valley Schoolhouse Community Center. Senator Bonacic presented Mrs. Wiand with a Senate Proclamation at the event which recognized her achievements.
