On Monday, June 25th Senator Serrano addressed the fifth grade graduating class of P.S. 114, Luis Lorens Torres School. The Senator was pleased to announce Alomdra Castillo as the winner of this year’s New York State Senate Earth Day Poster Contest for the 29th District.

“Congratulations to all the graduates, and a special recognition to our Senate Earth Day Poster Contest winner, Alomdra Castillo! Her work displayed tremendous originality and vision, as well as obvious concern for the ecological future of our communities and our state. I urge the graduating students to embrace their creativity in Middle School and beyond, and to continue getting involved with improving their communities."
