Senator Persaud and Assembly Member Walker are partnering with New York City Department of Environmental Protection to offer free rain barrels to homeowners to help reduce water bills, conserve drinking water, and help prevent hazardous sewer overflows into our local waterways. Rain barrels store captured storm water for your future use, such as watering your garden or washing your car. Deadline for registration is May 25, 2018. Rain barrel distribution will be on June 2, 2018.
