Dear Neighbor,
As your State Senator, I am committed to ensuring that my office serves as a resource to those I am honored to represent.
One of my top priorities is to be a voice for young people throughout the State. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of hosting and working with hundreds of interns and graduate fellows in both my Albany and District offices. I believe strongly in engaging young people in opportunities and programs that will expose them to new potential careers.
With the invaluable assistance of Monica Garay, the 2018 Terence D. Tolbert Public Service Internship Program Graduate Fellow, my office has assembled this important resource guide. I hope the programs featured will encourage young people to explore new opportunities, engage in leadership development programs and gain experience in exciting career paths available to them.
I hope you will share this information with a young person in your life. This brochure is just a small sample of the opportunities available. To request a copy of the full guide, please call 718-643- 6140.
If you know of a program that you would like to see featured in a future edition of this brochure, please e-mail the information to montgome@nysenate.gov.
In partnership,
Senator Velmanette Montgomery
