**STATEMENT**

Now more than ever, it’s important we work to increase access to mental health services and eliminate stigma. I am calling for the passage of legislation to guarantee every New Yorker the right to mental health care in our State's constitution because for too long insurance companies have not practiced parity, and it's time this stop. Mental health has never been more front and center due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and now is not the time to limit or not cover care.”
