Senator Serrano Advocates for More COVID-19 Testing in the Most Impacted Communities

Senator Serrano joined Assembly Member Michael Blake and his colleagues in the South Bronx to express an urgent need for additional testing and hospital services in the most affected communities. The South Bronx has some of the highest levels of positive COVID-19 cases, and residents are more likely to perish as a result of contracting the virus. The legislators asked Governor Cuomo to activate the Harlem River Yard, a state-owned, waterfront site as a rapid testing facility. Open the PDF on this page to read the letter.
