On February 25, Senator Serrano and his colleagues in the Bronx Senate Delegation sent a letter led by Senator Jamaal Bailey, to Governor Cuomo requesting vaccine equity for the Bronx. As the Bronx continues to have the highest positivity rates in the city, it's important that vaccine access is equal to that in the other boroughs.

In response, Governor Cuomo has agreed to increase the vaccine allocation at the Yankee Stadium site, and to add another site in the Northern Bronx.
