Commentary: DEC must deny Orange County power plant's air permit

Protesters rally against the CPV power plant in 2018 outside the Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse in Manhattan, where Joseph Percoco, a former top staffer to then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was on trial on charges that he had received money to facilitate approvals for the CPV plant. Percoco was found guilty of honest services fraud, conspiracy to commit honest services fraud, and solicitation of bribes and gratuities.
