On Saturday, August 3, Senator Serrano joined the residents of St. Mary’s Park Houses at their annual Family Day event. While at the event, Senator Serrano presented Resident Association President Dana Elden with a proclamation honoring her longstanding commitment to the South Bronx community. St. Mary’s Park Houses Resident Association board members were also presented with certificates recognizing their hard work, year-round, but especially in organizing this great event. Family days are always a wonderful opportunity to engage with community members, while enjoying great food, music, and events.
