New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli released a report on the economic health of the South Bronx. Serrano joined his colleagues in government, community leaders, and cultural organizations at the La Central YMCA for Comptroller DiNapoli’s presentation. The report was comprehensive, looking at trends for employment, wage growth, and other factors to give us an idea of where we are, and where we need improvement. According to the Comptroller’s report, the South Bronx continues to move in the right direction economically despite challenges brought on by the pandemic. This continued growth can be attributed to the hard work and resiliency of the people in our community.
