Senator Serrano Co-Hosts Adirondack Day 2024
May 6, 2024
In May, Senator Serrano hosted the annual Adirondack Day in Albany with Senator Neil Breslin. They were joined by Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, fellow elected officials, and many advocates to celebrate the positive impact of the Adirondacks. The Adirondacks, as a region, bring immense value to the state as a whole. Recognized as the largest National Historic Landmark in the United States, the Adirondacks are a top destination for many nature lovers, as this region offers a little bit of everything across its 6 million acres of land. At the event, Senator Serrano had the opportunity to hear from advocates who were able to share insight to the diversity of land use across this region and better understand the economic, historic, and environmental relevance of the Adirondacks to the state.
