Senator Serrano joined colleagues in government, first responders, and community members at a September 11 Day of Remembrance ceremony hosted by the Office of Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson. This solemn tribute was held at Lou Gehrig Plaza in the Bronx, and included a Presentation of Colors, interfaith prayer, and performances dedicated to the victims of September 11. The names of the 144 victims of September 11 from the Bronx were read at this ceremony.
