On May 3rd, Senator Serrano joined the Friends of 4 Parks and community members at Joyce Kilmer Park in the Bronx for the 5th Annual Community Social. This event showcased the park’s lush greenery and blossoming flowers and also provided an opportunity for residents to gather, enjoy the refreshing spring weather, and connect with their neighbors. Attendees participated in a variety of activities, including games, arts and crafts for children, and informative booths about local initiatives. Special thanks go to the Friends of 4 Parks, NYC Parks, and the numerous volunteers whose hard work and commitment ensure that our local parks remain clean, safe, and enjoyable spaces for everyone to appreciate and cherish.
