The Manhattan district attorney should push forward with the Dominique Strauss-Kahn prosecution, a state senator and women's groups urged Sunday.
"The district attorney has a responsibility to prosecute this case," said Sen. Bill Perkins (D-Harlem), who sent a letter to District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. pressing him not to drop the case because of doubts about the credibility of the hotel maid who says the former IMF head attacked her. "Let the victim have her day in court."
