State Legislature to Approve Amanda Lynn's Law Before Session Ends
The Senate once again passed Amanda Lynn’s Law, this time with amendments to the bill. Senator Rob Ortt, who sponsored the bill in the Senate, announces the Assembly has agreed on the changes. Robin Schimminger is sponsoring the bill in the Assembly and hopes to pass it during the last week of session. Sen. Ortt is hoping the bill will become law later this year. The Buffalo News interviewed Sen. Ortt the day before the bill passed in the Senate.
