LI lawmaker pushing for ban on armed teachers

New York state Sen. Todd Kaminsky (D-Long Beach) unveiled legislation Saturday that would prohibit teachers from carrying guns in schools.
"More guns is not and will never be the answer," he said. "When we decide to arm teachers, we are implicitly saying there is nothing that can be done."
