Senator Skoufis Delivers for Our Children’s Education
Letter to the Editor
As our children started full-day kindergarten this September in the Washingtonville Central School District, I have to thank my State Senator, James Skoufis! I am very excited this year’s kindergarten class will benefit from something I thought would never happen in Washingtonville: a FULL-DAY kindergarten program. Senator Skoufis tenaciously committed to making full-day kindergarten happen, secured the much-needed state funding, and fulfilled his promise to ensure every kindergarten student in every zip code received the comprehensive education they all deserve. The students of the Washingontville’s Central School District will now have a level playing field!
There is no question that this program will give all our kids a good start in education and in life, and for that, I would like to thank James Skoufis, well done!
