Open since 2014, Betty’s Country Kitchen is a staple in the village. Sen. James Skoufis honored the good that Radday does through his restaurant by presenting him with the state Senate Empire Award last week.

“Kevin Radday lives, breathes and feeds Washingtonville. In recognition of his never-ending generosity to his neighbors; service on the school board and in law enforcement; dedication to every good cause that exists in Washingtonville and Blooming Grove; and having a delicious restaurant that serves as a hub for the community, it was my privilege to present Kevin Radday of Betty’s Country Kitchen the New York State Senate Empire Award,” Skoufis said.

The Empire Award is the state Senate’s highest honor for small businesses and is given to exceptional businesses and business owners that go out of their way to give back to the community.
