Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (East Shore/Brooklyn), Sen. Andrew Lanza (South Shore), Assemblyman Michael Reilly (South Shore), and Councilman Steven Matteo (Mid-Island) and Joe Borelli (South Shore) wrote a letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio and city Parks Department Commissioner Mitchell Silver asking them to relax restrictions on beaches, golf courses, and tennis courts across the city.
