U.S. Congresswoman Kathleen Rice, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and State Senator Kevin Thomas cradled three puppies that are up for adoption from the North Shore Animal League America. The elected officials were at the splash park in Eisenhower Park, where guests are invited to bring their dogs on Sept. 13.
