Bill looks to loosen pepper spray restrictions

A new bill from state Sen. Jessica Scarcella-Spanton would loosen those restrictions, allowing self-defense sprays to be sold more widely.

The senator says the legislation could make it easier for people, especially women, to protect themselves in dangerous situations.
