Belated holiday gift for Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps
State Senator Rob Rolison and Assemblyman Matt Slater visited the corps Monday along with town officials to announce the funding would go toward the purchase of a new generator, ensuring the corps remains operational during storms and power outages.
“Volunteer first responders are the backbone of Putnam Valley, especially during emergencies and severe weather,” said Rolison. “Keeping Putnam safe means making sure our emergency responders have the tools they need to operate in any conditions and making sure they stay connected during storms and outages and continue to protect the community when it matters most.”
