STATEWIDE - VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS of domestic violence will et more protections through three new bills Gov Kathy Hochul signed into law Tuesday.
Hochul signed Brooklyn Assemblymember Latrice Walker's bill that expands the definition of sexual offense survivors by including a victim of unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image. Hochul also signed a bill that state Sen Jessica Scarcella-Spanton sponsored that relates to penalties for a lodging facility that fails to comply with certain requirements for providing information concerning services for human trafficking victims.
