NYS Ranked 50th Nationally for economic outlook

Brooklyn loves Senator Steve Chan.

He speaks the truth and he wants politicians to work together to make life better for New Yorkers.
Governor Hochul’s speech did not do enough to deal with rising costs, declining public safety and lack of leadership.

Senator Chan blamed Democratic policies for making New York the most expensive state in the country, citing high housing, energy, grocery, and healthcare costs. He even talked about the safety risks of battery storage facilities near homes and schools.

Senator Chan condemned bail reform and parole policies because they tied the hands of police. He pointed to subway violence. He said: “We have seen countless attacks, elderly people being pushed onto the tracks and even people lit on fire.” This is happening because of bad policies.

Finally, Chan called for transparency and oversight over money.
