State Senator Owen H. Johnson (4th Senate District, Babylon), Chairman of the Finance Committee, attended a recent North Babylon School Board meeting where he was thanked by students who attended the Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) Science program. The goal of the BNL Science program is to encourage students to get excited about careers in the sciences. Senator Johnson had secured additional state aid for the North Babylon School District, which made it possible for the students to be transported to and from the science program that was held right at Brookhaven National Labs in Upton, New York.
