
Larkin Secures Funding For Orange & Ulster Seniors

Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) has secured state funding for several local organizations serving senior citizens in Orange and Ulster Counties.
"I am happy to announce these awards," said Senator Larkin. "These groups perform so many important services for our older citizens. It is a pleasure to have been able to advocate on their behalf."
Senator Larkin has obtained grants for the following groups:
The Johnes Home, a senior residence facility located in Newburgh, has been awarded $40,000 to upgrade the entire electrical system inside the home.
The Ulster County Office For the Aging, located in the City of Kingston, has received $16,000 to purchase a vehicle for use by caseworkers who work with senior citizens.
The New Windsor Senior Citizens’ Club, Inc. Has received $5,000 to assist with transportation costs for the club.
