BRONX- This past Friday, Senator Jeff Klein, joined by Santa Claus himself and the students of P.S. 108 and P.S. 83, flicked the switch at his 13^th Annual Christmas Tree at Peace Memorial Plaza on Williamsbridge Rd and Pelham Parkway.

Careening through the crowd on a horse drawn carriage Senator Klein showered thecrowdwith Christmas presents as the choir broke into "Deck the Halls" and other Christmas classics. The merry minions received stuffed santas and snomen, in addition to chocolate kisses. This is the 13th year that Senator Klein has donated the neighborhood tree which will remain erect through outthe holiday season. Happy Holidays!
