Klein Keeps Officers Fit

YONKERS, NY-Joined by members of the 2nd Precinct Community Council, Senator Klein toured the excercise facilities at the 2nd Police Precinct and did a few laps onthe machinesthat his $7,500 donation helped purchase.
Lt. Christopher Melvin thanked the Senator for his continueing dedication to the precinct, citing the importance of physical fitness to the work of the police force.
"I am glad that the precinct was able to make good use of the grant. The vitality of our officers is synonymous with the vitality of our community. Keeping them healthy keeps us safe," said Senator Klein.
