Senator Bill Larkin Announces $175 K In State Budget For Benedictine And Kingston Hospitals

Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) today announced that Benedictine and Kingston Hospitals will each receive grants in the amount of $175,000 to be used for capital improvements.
"I am very pleased that my appeals on behalf of Benedictine and Kingston Hospitals were successful and that this critical funding was included in the final 2007-08 state budget," said Senator Larkin. "These grants will help create state-of-the-art facilities and will result in even better medical care and support for patients in Ulster County."
Benedictine Hospital plans to make important renovations to the hospital’s Oncology Unit with the grant.
Kingston Hospital will use this funding to develop its electronic medical record keeping system.
