
Operation S.N.U.G. Anti-Crime Initiative Statewide Listening Tour Scheduled to Kickoff in Buffalo

(Buffalo, NY) State Senator Antoine M. Thompson (D-Buffalo/Niagria Falls Erie Count) to host a Round Table Forum on Operation S.N.U.G. (guns spelled backwards), a campaign designed by elected officials, civic and community leaders to help stop gun violence in New York State.
S.N.U.G., simply means that we need clearly communicate the community values about gun violence and that it is our responsibility to take the concerns of the community to a national level to obtain the funding and political support necessary to be successful.
Operation S.N.U.G will work with local law enforcement officials in each jurisdiction across the state to develop a comprehensive public relations campaign to draw attention to identify the problems and offer tangible solutions at a series of public forums across the state.
