Round One Applications Due June 15, 2009

            Senator Kenneth P. LaValle would like to make businesses aware that the Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC) application deadline for the  first round of Downstate Revitalization Funds is June 15, 2009.

            Senator LaValle noted that $35 million in funding was made available in the 2008-09 State budget to invest in projects that advance local development and small businesses.  Eligible applicants can include for-profit businesses, not-for-profit corporations, public benefit corporations, municipalities, and academic institutions.
