STATEMENT FROM STATE SENATOR KEVIN PARKER ON VETERANS DAY
21ST SENATE DISTRICT
"It is my privilege to recognize the brave Veterans and my colleagues in the State Legislature who have served America and protected our freedom. We owe the many men and women who have answered the call of duty a debt of appreciation that can never fully be repaid.”
“In addition, as we honor America’s military heroes on Veteran's Day, we must honor their families for the sacrifices they also have made.”
“Finally, to the men and women who continue to fight for our freedoms in Iraq and Afghanistan, please know that we are praying for your safe return. As I continue to represent the 21st District, I will ensure that the state government is doing its best to meet the needs of veterans and their families in Central Brooklyn. I am committed to addressing the physical and mental health care, education, job training, and other social service needs these individuals continue to face during these rough economic times."
