Senate Democrats Protect Drug Dealers and Drug-Dealing Illegal Aliens
William J. Larkin Jr.
April 1, 2009
Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) today expressed his frustration, outrage and anger at the pro-drug provisions contained in the budget crafted by the Senate Democrats. "These changes to the law will allow hardened criminals, as well as illegal aliens, to be allowed back on the streets sooner and with less state control," said Larkin. "The more we read the language contained in the budget, which was crafted behind closed doors, the more benefits we find for criminals and illegal aliens. It’s as though the criminals themselves were asked "what would make your lives easier" and that language was inserted into the budget," said Larkin. "These provisions are a travesty and will only endanger law-abiding citizens across New York State."
