First day of school for all New York City public school students:

There is no school on Thursday, September 9 and Friday, September 10 for New York City public school students due to the Rosh Hashanah holiday.

Students return to school for the first full week of classes:

Monday, September 13

Remember, perfect attendance starts on Wednesday, September 8
