On Wednesday, February 17th, Senator Robach released the following statement regarding the consideration of New York State tax refunds being delayed:

“The hard working taxpayers of New York State are already struggling in this challenging economy and to withhold their state tax returns will be another hard hit that many cannot afford to take.  Many individuals rely on that refund to help with bills and to delay the payment is unfair. Delaying refunds will not solve the state’s long-term financial issues.”
