(Wantagh, NY)- Senate President Pro Tempore Malcolm A. Smith will
join other elected officials and thousands of  New Yorkers at a rally
and walk calling for medical insurance coverage increases for
children with autism. Senator Smith has been a staunch advocate for
families with children suffering from autism who are now demanding
changes in the state law that will help reduce their medical costs. 
Other invited guest include U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney, Sen. Craig Johnson (D- Westbury), Sen.
Charles Fuschillo (R-Massapequa) and Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano.
