As a member of the New York State Senate Committee on Crime Victims, Crime, and Corrections, Senator Nozzolio has fought hard to keep New York State’s inmates accountable for their crimes.
Senator Nozzolio has sponsored legislation (S.2404) that would allow New York State to collect a small healthcare copayment for those who could afford to pay. This copayment would discourage fraud and abuse of the healthcare benefits that prisoners enjoy.
CBS Channel 6 News in Albany recently highlighted Senator Nozzolio’s efforts in a recent broadcast. CLICK HERE to view this important segment.
