Senate Puerto Rican and Latino Caucus to Meet with Governor Paterson
Albany, NY- State Senator Rubén Díaz, Sr., Chairman of the New York State Senate Puerto Rican and Latino Caucus today announced that the Caucus will meet with Governor David A. Paterson today at 4:00 p.m. in the Governor’s office in the Capitol.
“New York State is facing unprecedented challenges,” stated Senator Díaz. “As Chairman of the New York State Senate Puerto Rican and Latino Caucus, I think it is very important that we meet with Governor Paterson to discuss our many concerns and issues, and to present our recommendations to him,” he continued.
“Most importantly, the Caucus looks forward to continuing the open and honest dialogue that we have previously established with Governor Paterson in order to address issues of mutual concern,” Senator Díaz concluded.
