On Sunday, June 5, 2011, more than one thousand bikers participated in the 7th annual Tour de Brooklyn. The NYPD escorted the 18-mile family-friendly bike tour as a rolling parade, beginning at 9:00am.  Riders of all ages participated and enjoyed a brief stop at Canarsie Pier, where they rested, snacked and refilled their water bottles.  Take a look at the Senator's brief interview on Fox here.
