Senator Jack M. Martins visited the children’s summer reading program at the Bryant Library in Roslyn. Senator Martins spent some time with the children, discussing the summer with them. The Senator then read a book with the children – “The 10 Things I Can Do To Help My World” by Melanie Walsh. The story was how even little things can make a big difference.

“It was wonderful to spend some time in the children’s room in the Bryant Library, reading a story with the kids. I enjoyed spending time with them. and discussing how the summer is going. It was a very hot day so to be inside the library reading a good book was a great way to spend a morning,” Senator Martins said. “I want to thank the Bryant Library for having me. It’s a fantastic library that’s filled with history and historical resources, situated in a beautiful area.”
