"I am pleased that FEMA has recognized the need for federal disaster assistance in Orange and Sullivan Counties; in addition to Delaware and Ulster County, which were approved earlier in the week,” said Senator John Bonacic. “ I appreciate the Governor’s commitment to all areas of the state and all of the hard work he’s doing to assess the damage left in the wake of Hurricane Irene. I am so impressed with and thankful for all of our firefighters, law enforcement and emergency responders as well as the residents within our communities, for working around the clock taking care of one another as we begin to rebuild.”
