Senator Marty Golden Sworn in to Serve Fifth Term in State Senate

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District) was sworn in to serve his fifth term in the New York State Senate at a ceremony held on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Intermediate School 228, 228 Avenue S, corner of West 5th Street, in Brooklyn.
Judge Vincent Del Giudice, Justice of the Supreme Court, administered the oath of office. The ceremony was attended by more than 300 people including Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Assemblymembers Nicole Malliotakis and Alec Brook-Krasny, and City Councilmen Vincent Gentile and David Greenfield. The ceremony featured music by the I.S. 228 David A. Boody Jazz Band and Chorus, a performance by the I.S. 228 Asian Dance Troop and a musical presentation by the I.S. 228 David A. Boody Chamber Music.
